Pastor Larry L. Harris Sr.Having been led as we believe by the spirit of God to this faith filled moment, we do now in the presence of God, Heavenly Hosts, and all earthly onlookers rejoice! We celebrate this moment of observing the stone/ cornerstone... that we do not reject, but rather, embrace! We celebrate the stone that holds our history and purpose in God's Kingdom for such a time as this.

It is with this stone that we are wedded to our purpose in the history of this church. We tell the story of God's love, testify of Christ's salvation, trumpet the news of the Holy Spirit empowering and leading us to victory; "there is therefore no condemnation for those in Christ!"... (Romans 8:1) With this stone we stand with thousands of others who have gone before us choosing to serve God faithfully. These faithful men & women; Worked in God's Kingdom, Broadcast the Good News/ Gospel, Bore the Cross of identity and suffering with Christ, brought their families along with them in sacred devotion "As for me and My house , we will serve the Lord.!"... (Joshua 24:15).

With this stone we now wait in faithful expectation for our Lord's second coming...we work till the time of final transformation of saints of all ages... we welcome the proclamation Of our Lord, "well done My good and faithful servants!" ...(Matthew 25:21)

Mt. Olive, during this time of celebration we have been challenged by every preacher to rejoice and remember our heritage and to fulfill our legacy. Yes, no doubt about it, we have done a lot in these 101 years, And the stone tells the story! Yet there is much work to be done..."we must work the work of Him who has sent us while it is yet day, for the night cometh when no man can work.., (John 9s4).

A charge to keep we have, A God to glorify, a never dying soul to save and fit It for the sky, to serve this present age, my calling to fulfill, oh may it all my powers engage to do my Master's will... Let us now continue in the Koinonia of Christ!

God is Able!
Pastor Larry L. Harris Sr.

P.s.  "now it's time to say good-bye...
